ET Earns the #111 Spot in ENR Rankings

For more than a decade, ET has quietly and consistently built a reputation for innovation, expertise, and impact in the environmental industry. That dedication is being recognized again in the 2025 ENR rankings.

The list of Engineering News-Record (ENR) 2025 Top 200 Environmental Firms has been released, and ET has achieved some of the company’s highest placements:

  • #24 in the All Environmental Firms category
  • #111 among Top 200 Environmental Firms overall

These rankings represent consistent and continued growth earned through years of engineering and construction excellence, trusted partnerships, and a relentless drive to solve complex challenges.

A Legacy of Excellence, A Future of Growth

ET has a long-standing presence in the Top 200 Environmental Firms, with rankings dating back to 2013.

To now reach the 24th spot among all environmental firms nationwide is not just a return to the list, but a leap forward. It reflects the strength of ET’s expanding environmental portfolio, which includes pioneering landfill remediation projects, renewable natural gas infrastructure, and innovative leachate and emissions solutions.

What This Ranking Represents

This achievement isn’t just about the numbers. It’s about what they stand for:

  • Client Trust: Long-term partnerships built on transparency, responsiveness, and solutions that work.
  • Innovation in Action: Technologies like WAIV® leachate treatment systems, renewable energy integration, and data-driven design-build practices.
  • A People-First Culture: From field crews to engineers, project managers to partners, ET’s people are the foundation of every milestone.
  • Environmental Stewardship: A commitment to protecting land, air, and water while supporting the nation’s infrastructure and energy needs.

The Road Ahead

Breaking into ENR’s top 25 All-Environmental firms and top 125 Environmental firms overall is more than a recognition of past success, it is a launchpad for what comes next. ET continues to expand its footprint in landfill innovation, renewable energy, transfer stations, heavy industrial design-build, and beyond.

“We’re proud, but more importantly, we’re energized,” says President and CEO Bill Higginbotham. “These rankings reflect who we are at our core: problem solvers, collaborators, and stewards of better-built environments.”
