Bill Higginbotham

BILL HIGGINBOTHAM, PE LEED AP BD+C

PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Bill is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he remains very active in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering including service as an adjunct professor teaching business innovation. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in multiple states and a LEED Accredited Professional. Bill’s areas of industry expertise are in the biogas, renewable natural gas, compressed natural gas, solid waste, and environmental remediation fields.

HOWARD SZURLINSKI

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Howard has served as ET’s Chief Financial Officer since 1999. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and was responsible for the creation of the Forecasting system currently used by ET.  Howard currently leads ET’s Accounting Department located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, ENVIRONMENTAL

Brad has held various positions during his 35-year construction career including Project Manager, Landfill Manager, and Area President for one of the largest solid waste companies in the US.  Brad serves as ET’s Executive Vice President for the Environmental Division.  He’s based out of Texas and provides leadership to the Executive Management team in the areas of strategic planning, client relationship management, resource allocation, and overall project budget management.  Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from New Mexico State University.

Humberto Lopez

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, INDUSTRIAL

Humberto Lopez is Executive Vice President of ET’s Industrial Division. He has more than 30 years of diversified experience in food and beverage, manufacturing, petrochemical and commercial projects for multi-national corporations in the US and Latin America. Humberto has had a successful career in business unit management, business development and project development including general contracting, design-build and EPC, contract negotiations, material procurement and general coordination with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors.

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, ENERGY

Mike Myhre brings ET 25 years of construction experience. He has served in numerous roles, starting out as a welder/pipe fitter, field engineer, Project Manager, and ultimately Area Manager for one of the largest heavy civil contractors in the country. With an extensive background in the oil and gas industry, Mike leads the Energy Group with a focus on diversification and expansion into the offshore, midstream, and downstream areas of the energy market.

Mike is an Executive Vice President with more than 30 years of experience around the world. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and is currently based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Mike’s background includes heavy construction, infrastructure, industrial, transportation, solid waste, and organics processing projects.

Ballew Mark

MARK BALLEW, LEED AP

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

Mark is a Senior Vice President with 40 years of environmental management experience. His expertise includes site assessments, due diligence studies, environmental engineering and permitting, facility decontamination and demolition, landfill construction and closure, and waste processing facility construction. Mark has assisted both public and private agencies with the management of environmental projects throughout the US.

MITCH GRADY

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, SAFETY & RISK MANAGEMENT

Mitch has more than 30 years of experience in construction management and currently serves as ET’s Senior Vice President of Risk Management. Mitch has managed projects in excess of $100 million. He has extensive experience in design-build project management, contract management, risk mitigation, and corporate compliance. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska, and has been a resident of Denver, Colorado, since 1995.

VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING

Steve Arnold is ET’s Vice President of Engineering, based out of the Chicago office. Steve is a civil and structural engineer with more than 25 years of experience. Steve oversees ET’s team of design managers and engineers on all design efforts in the US and Canada. Steve is frequently asked to speak at industry trade events regarding Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling and maintenance facilities and authored a Natural Gas for Transportation report used statewide by the Wisconsin State Energy Office.

Todd Hochstein

TODD HOCHSTEIN

OPERATIONS MANAGER, ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION

Todd has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry including roles as Operations Manager, Senior Project Manager, Site Superintendent, Project Engineer, and QA/QC Manager. Todd’s areas of expertise include resource management and allocation, project planning and scheduling, budgeting and estimating, and safety planning and execution. Todd has a civil engineering degree, extensive experience with Alternate Project Delivery Methods, and is currently serving as Operations Manager for ET’s Environmental Division based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

OPERATIONS MANAGER, INDUSTRIAL DIVISION

Bobby Osburn has more than 35 years of experience in the commercial, industrial, and healthcare construction industries including roles as Project Executive, Construction Manager, and Operations Manager. Bobby maintains excellent communication with designers, engineers, vendors, and project staff. His expertise has led him to work on projects around the world. Bobby is based out of Atlanta, Georgia, and is currently serving as Operations Manager for ET’s Industrial Division.

Matt Banks

MATT BANKS, EIT, LEED GA

OPERATIONS MANAGER, ENERGY DIVISION

Matt brings more than 10 years of engineering, estimating, project management, and quality control experience to his current role as Operations Manager of ET’s Energy Division. Matt’s background includes work for both the public and private sectors. He has performed the duties of a Project Superintendent, Project Engineer, and Project Manager, giving him a complete understanding of all aspects of project development. Matt has a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Business Administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

Sue is an experienced Human Resources Director with over 25 years in the field. She has a solid track record of championing employee initiatives and managing benefits programs for both national and international corporations. Currently, she is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that support ET’s corporate objectives, working from the company’s headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
